Friends With Purpose was founded by Tomas De Pinho and Zach Yusko, built on years of community service and the belief that access to financial knowledge shouldn't depend on where you happened to start.

Tomas De Pinho
Hi! My name is Tomas De Pinho, and I am from Greenwich, Connecticut, but was born in Houston, Texas, where I lived until high school. I am currently attending Boston College, majoring in economics and exploring a minor or double major in creative writing.
During my freshman year at Boston College, I was a TA for Boston Green Academy through the PULSE program, dedicating 10 hours a week to helping underserved and special-needs students with humanities, ELA, and college counseling. I also participated in the Horizons Program at Greens Farms Academy, where I tutored and supported underserved students.
I have always been committed to giving back to every community I have been fortunate enough to be a part of, and I hope to continue that commitment with Friends With Purpose.

Zach Yusko
Hi! My name is Zach Yusko, and I am from Darien, Connecticut. I currently attend Auburn University, where I am studying finance with a minor in economics.
Throughout my life, a core value of mine has been to give back to the communities that I have been fortunate to be a part of. During high school, I devoted a lot of my time to the Darien Challenger Program, where I found joy connecting with special needs children through sports and activities, creating lasting memories.
Since getting to campus at Auburn, I have found purpose volunteering at the Auburn United Methodist Church food pantry, where I've helped hundreds of families get food and supplies. Through this service, I've found great joy in all the conversations I've had with families, which has motivated me to start this initiative, Friends With Purpose.
